The good ole TSA agents....
The media seems to paint TSA agents in a very negative light do you agree with the perception of TSA agents
Does TSA have to much authority when accessing travelers personal information. Are our 4th Amendment rights being violated or is the media painting TSA agents out to be something they are not ?
A few articles to look at below
TSA can access your personal information even before you step foot in an airport..

They seem to have way too much power. I realize that they are there to protect the people who are traveling from one place to another, but at times there are stories that are released that makes the TSA seem like it is ran by ignorant people. I remember a year or so ago when a physically disabled, young girl was traveling with her mom. They were detained and humiliated because the TSA said that her wheelchair contained potential explosive residue. On a personal note, my mother in law, who has a metal hip replacement due to a birth defect, was humiliated and practically stripped by airport security. She had forgotten her card that explained her hip, and they would not take her word for it. I have a real problem with this. They have the full body scanning systems, and you will never be able to tell me that they could not tell that her metal was internal. Anyway, she was humiliated and swears she will never travel by plane again. They should be allowed to make certain judgement calls. Surely they can tell the difference between a threat and an odd occurrence. Do they treat all physically disabled people this way?
